All our orthodontists are registered on the Specialist List of the General Dental Council (GDC) of Great Britain after having dedicated a further three years of full-time postgraduate training to obtain their specialist orthodontic qualification of MOrth RCS.

Sadaf is a GDC registered Specialist Orthodontist who trained as a dentist at Guys Hospital, London and then specialised in Orthodontics at Kings College, London. He has been a previous Consultant Orthodontist at the John Radcliffe Hospital and University College London (UCL). Sadaf is a very highly regarded specialist with 17 years experience treating thousands of children and adults with both fixed and Invisalign braces.
Sadaf initially developed Oxford Orthodontics on London Road in Headington. This has subsequently undergone a complete update and re-fit providing a beautiful and relaxing new environment for patients. Swindon Orthodontics, Witney Orthodontics and Thame Orthodontics have also been added as sister practices and plans are underway to develop and update these to the same high standard. The practices are renowned centres of excellence and recognised Invisalign Diamond providers.

Sophia Wahla is a very sought after and highly qualified specialist orthodontist who is trained to Hospital Consultant level. She qualified as a dentist at Glasgow University in 2000. She has a masters degree in orthodontics from King’s College London and did her membership in orthodontics at the Royal College of Edinburgh.
Sophia is also a Diamond Invisalign provider and loves being an orthodontist. She finds it especially rewarding working with young children and seeing first-hand the improvement in their dental aesthetics and confidence at a critical stage in their development. She also enjoys the challenges of adult orthodontics and can provide a range of aesthetic brace options. She is committed to delivering excellent aesthetics and providing a high quality of clinical care to her patients.

Andy has been a dentist since 1986 and in specialist practice in Kidlington since 1998. Between ’86 and ’98 he had jobs in oral surgery and restorative dentistry and orthodontics before taking his final exam in 1996. Andy has worked in Sheffield, Edinburgh, Chesterfield, Manchester and High Wycombe prior to Kidlington, and now in Witney. He is currently an examiner for the Diploma in Orthodontics and for orthodontic therapists at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Although he has specialised in braces since 1996 he has worked in general practice as well, and tries to keep up to date with all areas of dentistry by attending local dental courses and lectures. He also sits on the Local Dental Committee.
Andy's main interest is in Simplified Treatment Mechanics (STM) i.e. ensuring that the treatment provided is carried out with the minimum of fuss and in the minimum amount of time. He wants the patient to understand why they are considering braces and what the benefits might be and to make an informed decision that is right for them.
Andy enjoys long distance walking, going to the Lake District, films, books and music, cycling, guitars, karate and playing chess.

Fiona completed her undergraduate dental studies in Ireland and her postgraduate orthodontic studies in the UK. She graduated with BDS(honours) in Ireland, a Master of Dental Science in Orthodontics from University of Wales and a Membership of Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Since qualifying as an orthodontist Fiona has worked exclusively in specialist practice. She has lived and worked locally in Oxford as a specialist orthodontist for over 21 years. She now has a wealth of experience having treated a large number of patients with a diverse range of appliances. She is committed to her professional development, regularly attending and participating in ongoing education and training. In addition to her clinical practice, she teaches regularly on Orthodontic Index courses. She has also worked as a Regional Clinical Lead offering mentorship, support and guidance to orthodontists in her area.
Fiona considers herself to be a caring and conscientious practitioner who is focused on providing the highest quality treatment and service to all her patients. She strives to understand each patient’s needs so she can tailor treatment to every individual. She plans to continue creating beautiful, healthy and happy smiles for all her patients.
